On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 10 a.m. one of the most popular additions to the Steel Horse Rally returns: The Cops & Cones Motorcycle Exhibition. The event takes place in the middle of Garrison Avenue (between the intersection with Towson Ave. west to 11th St.) as law enforcement officers on their motorcycles take on the challenging course. The Steel Horse Rally welcomed officers from Fort Smith, Van Buren, Little Rock, Fayetteville, Bella Vista, Benton County, and Saline County who showcased their riding skills in previous years of the Cops & Cones Motorcycle Exhibition.
This fun, family-friendly event always draws a huge crowd as law enforcement officers are timed as they maneuver through dozens of cones. Thanks to incredible sponsors, the event is free to the public. A special thanks to the Fort Smith Police Department for making this event possible.

The First Annual Inaugural Steel Horse Rally Shootout was a huge success! With close to 2,000 fans in attendance, everyone got to see some incredible flat-track motorcycle racing on the high banks in Pocola, OK. Thanks to everyone who attended the motorcycle racing event at the mighty Tri-State Speedway and we look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Annual Steel Horse Rally Shootout that will be part of the 5th Annual Steel Horse Rally May 3rd & 4th, 2019!
If the SHR even played a small of in the decision to reinstate the Motorcycle Patrol to the FSPD, we are very proud and excited! Thanks to Old Fort Harley and everyone involved in making this a reality. We are looking forward to seeing the bikes on patrol and they will be providing escort in the upcoming Thunder thru the Valley Motorcycle Parade at the 2019 Rally.
