Welcome to the 2024 Steel Horse Rally!

We are proud to have you in downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas for the 2024 Steel Horse Rally! As always, the rally is dedicate to "all who serve" and and raises donations for 3 local charities. This year's charities are Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club, Buddy Smith Home for Veterans and ARC for the River Valley.

Thanks to you, the tradition continues to grow! We are excited to announce a new family-friendly event: "Bikes and Badges" makes its debut Saturday, May 4th at the U.S. Marshals Museum, 789 Riverfront Drive. This new event is sponsored by Fort Smith Harley-Davidson and because of their dedication to the SHR and the community, you will be able to get in FREE to this world class museum on Sat., May 4th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.! Plus the Steel Horse Rally's Bikes and Badges event will feature a Vintage Motorcycle Show from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Smith Harley-Davidson is going to pay your entry fee into the show. You can pre-register your vintage bike(s) at MarshalsMuseum.org or simply show up at the museum beginning at 8 a.m. on Sat., May 4th. There will be plenty of free parking for your vehicle and trailer at the Marshals Museum of Bikes and Badge.

At the conclusion of Bikes and Badges, anyone with an antique motorcycle will be invited to ride in the Thunder though the Valley Parade. It stages at 3 p.m. at Riverfront Park (just south of the Marshals Museum). You will be allowed to ride your vintage bike towards the front of this crowd-favorite event! Kickstands up at 4 p.m.

The 2024 Steel Horse Rally sees the return of several popular events. Cops and Cones returns at 10 a.m. in the middle of Garrison Avenue at 12th Street. Watch law enforcement and their departments' motors exhibit superior riding skills!

The Steel Horse Strongman Showdown starts Sat., May 4th at 10 a.m. at it new location in the Glass Pavilion on North A St., Watch competitors via for a spot in regional contest while lifting incredible amounts of weight.

The SHR Handle Bar will return to it's location across from First National Bank at 6th St. & Garrison Avenue. You can also get the Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup there (as well as at participating bars and restaurants on Garrison Ave). The cup is a minimum charitable donation of $5 and 100% goes to the 3 local charities listed above. Fill your Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup with your favorite alcoholic beverage (you must be 21 or older) and then enjoy walking throughout downtown Fort Smith and the Steel Horse Rally!

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity is proud to present charitable donations raised at the 2024 Steel Horse Rally to several location charities including the Buddy Smith Homes for Veterans, the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Clubs and the Arc for the River Valley.

The Steel Horse Rally is dedicated to "Honoring All Who Serve:" military, veterans, law enforcement and first responders and the event helps local charities and the community. The Steel Horse Rally is typically held the first weekend of May and is the largest fundraising event for the charity each year. The first rally was held May 1st & 2nd, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR and raised thousands for local charities with an attendance of more than 30,000 people and a local economic impact of more than $4.2 Million. In 2023, the Steel Horse Rally had a record-breaking attendance of 210,000+ attendees and an estimated local economic impact of more than $24 Million.

The Steel Horse Rally is one of the fastest-growing motorcycle rallies in the country and has been recognized as one of the premiere events in the region. The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity has donated more than $200,000 to local charities and charitable organizations. Each year, local charities and charitable organizations apply and several are selected to be recipients of the donations generated at the annual Steel Horse Rally.

The Steel Horse Rally has received several local and regional awards for being an outstanding community event and for having great live entertainment. An annual tradition in Fort Smith, AR, the Steel Horse Rally features the Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade, motorcycle racing, charitable motorcycle rides, concerts, the Cops & Cones Motorcycle Exhibition and more.
